In January 1999, Francis Coppola Brands launched its line of Mammarella brand dried pasta, organic sauces and olive oil.
Bumbola, one of the four new organic cuts, is a hearty pasta formed in a bumblebee shape. Bumbola, along with the other three cuts, is made using antique bronze molds and dried on wooden racks as they were over 100 years ago. This age-old process gives the pasta its delightful tooth, or mouth feel.
